Tax Law

tax law attorneyLocal, county, state and federal governments make and file tax claims every day.  The type of filings and proceedings range from real estate tax liens to IRS wage garnishment, but they all involve some type of government action to collect a tax alleged to be due.  Keeping good records and copies of notices and letters sent and received are important, and timely filing is important.  Keeping proof of timely filing is critical.

We have represented clients in court on all types of sales tax, income tax, payroll tax, and real estate lien tax litigation and out-of-court resolutions.  We do not prepare tax returns.  We help people resolve claims that taxing entities make against them.
